Job Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to the Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing recommendations.
- Assists in interviewing, hiring, and orienting professional staff.
- Collaborates with the DON and Unit Manager to plan, organize, direct, and implement a comprehensive nursing program.
- Leads clinical activities to support the organization's and center's goals.
- Ensures compliance between nurses, CNA, and professional medical staff.
- Participates in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and ensures the plan addresses all triggered indicators.
- Communicates effectively with various disciplines to gather information on residents' status and progress towards care plan goals.
- Prepares accurate reports on Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS.
- Trends and tracks this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.
- Develops and implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in GA.
- Open to a flexible schedule including 7A-7P shifts.
