About the role
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion RN to provide safe and compassionate infusion care for oncology patients. The RN will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments while monitoring patients for adverse reactions and collaborating closely with oncologists and the multidisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies according to established protocols.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions before, during, and after treatment.
- Manage infusion-related reactions and provide appropriate clinical interventions.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, side effects, and symptom management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with oncology nursing standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum 2 years of Oncology Infusion Nursing experience
- ONS Provider Card
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Qualifications
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (preferred)
- Strong oncology assessment and patient education skills
- Experience working in a high-volume infusion center
Schedule
4 days per week, Monday-Friday
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
No set day off during the week
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to: 1200 Route 300, Newburgh, NY 12550
Travel is only as needed to provide coverage across infusion centers. No travel between locations during the same shift.
