Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality endoscopy services, working closely with physicians to provide patient sedation, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, efficient care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Procedure Assessment & Preparation: Review patient medical history, prepare the procedural room and equipment, and verify all pre-procedure requirements and informed consent prior to the start of the endoscopy.
- Patient Sedation & Administration: Administer procedural sedation and medications as directed by the physician, closely monitoring the patient's level of consciousness and physiological response throughout the procedure.
- Intra-Procedural Monitoring & Assistance: Continuously monitor the patient's vital signs, airway, and cardiac status. Assist the physician with endoscopic procedures and specimen handling.
- Post-Procedure Recovery: Manage patient recovery, monitor for any post-sedation or post-procedure complications, and provide clear discharge instructions to the patient and their family.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately and thoroughly document patient assessments, medication administration, and procedure interventions in the medical record. Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and facility policies.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, surgical technicians, and clinical staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent, hands-on endoscopy experience.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Shift/Schedule: 10-hour shifts with flexible start times (3 to 4 days per week)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
