RMN 12V Electrician

Responsibilities

• Route 12v electrical wires to equipment and follow a wire diagram.
• Connect lights, hose reels and other accessories to electrical box.
• Fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint.
• Communicate with fabricators to ensure a complete installation.
• Fabricate wire harnesses to complete installation as needed.
• Utilize basic hand tools as needed to complete objectives.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience

• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
• Low voltage electrical experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

Language

• Able to read and work from blueprints/spec books.
• Able to read and understand a tape measure accurately.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.

Math

• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer

• Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.

Abilities

• Able to identify quality issues, recognize changes within the production process, and adjust as needed.
• Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.
• Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
• Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.

Other Qualifications

• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally.
• Overtime as needed to meet the needs of the department.
• Local travel may be required.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Prolonged periods of travel may be required.
