RMA Operations Specialist

About the role

The Musco RMA Operations Team has an opening for a RMA Operations Specialist at our Oskaloosa office. This role supports the production of remanufactured products by performing a variety of tasks across multiple manufacturing stations.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check-in inbound RMA products into the RMA systems.
• Inspect and sort returned units for further processing.
• Affix labels and prepare for further processing.
• Assist in moving work-in-progress and production materials to various testing, rework, and repair stations.
• Perform order picking, filling, and packaging service orders for outbound shipments.
• Cook up and ship out all outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy of paperwork and timeliness.
• Collect repair data and help maintain RMA repair database.
• Operate hand tools and simple test equipment to test incoming product.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Shipping and receiving practices ideal.
• RMA processing experience is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing experience desired.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and written work instructions.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Capability to multi-task in a high pace environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Able to work well independently and/or as part of a team.
• Effective communication and collaboration with various teams to ensure RMAs are managed correctly.
• Basic MS Office proficiency and computer skills.

• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
• Experience with basic troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Understanding of quality control and safety standards.
