Rm Short Puller

Responsibilities

• Work and assist as directed by the Facilitator.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain equipment in the work area.
• Move, handle, and prepare material in the work area.
• Process product to move to the next work area.
• Maintain a safe work area through housekeeping, general clean-up, and 5S practices.
• Qualify for sequential positions in the line of progression.
• Acquire and maintain valid equipment permits as needed per work area.
• Maintain spare parts and supplies for the work area.
• Perform quality checks and inspections as required.
• Utilize EMM & GBS concepts.
• Observe and follow the Integrated Policy (Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality).
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area and adhere to all general and departmental safety rules (including Cardinal Safety Rules).
• Maintain a valid lift truck license.
• Maintain work area storage areas and assist in clean-up of material spills.
• Observe and follow all general and departmental environmental procedures, practices, and regulations.
• Complete annual environmental training, if applicable.
• Participate in spill containment and response, as well as fugitive dust control.
• Seek continuous improvement related to health and safety, environmental impact, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction with product quality and services.
• Focus on preventive actions for safety and operational improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a written test with a minimum score of 70%.
• Basic math and computer skills.
