About the role
As a puller in our distribution center, you will use equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts to retrieve and consolidate freight. You will retrieve warehouse orders and move them to the proper induction lanes for store delivery, as well as locate warehouse locations to put away inbound freight for future retrieval. Your role is vital in ensuring products reach our stores efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Use RF scan guns to scan cases, master loads, and locations as required.
- Retrieve and consolidate warehouse orders, moving them to the correct induction lanes.
- Locate and put away inbound freight in designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure freight is stacked securely before moving pallets.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the warehouse management system.
- Follow inbound, outbound, and freight relocation processes accurately.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly quality and production KPI goals.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support.

Qualifications
- At least one year of warehouse or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, passionate attitude toward Rural King’s initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Proven track record of producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments, responsibilities, and tasks.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and projects with a proactive approach to learning and growth.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds at times.
