The Risk PMO Program Manager role is based in the United States and involves leading complex, high-impact global programs at the intersection of risk, compliance, operations, and business strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and executing strategic programs that support business growth, regulatory readiness, and operational excellence.
- Building and improving operational frameworks, workflows, and systems that increase efficiency and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Partnering with risk, compliance, legal, product, engineering, data, and commercial teams to align priorities and ensure successful execution.
- Translating complex regulatory requirements into practical strategies that support business growth and strengthen user trust.
- Developing operating models that create accountability across distributed teams and enable effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Preparing strategic updates, reviews, and recommendations for senior stakeholders while managing critical escalations.
- Establishing data-driven approaches to capture user feedback, identify operational gaps, and create continuous improvement initiatives.
- Diagnosing systemic challenges and implementing scalable solutions that improve processes, infrastructure, and user experiences.
- Cheering a culture of ownership, operational rigor, collaboration, and customer-focused decision-making.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, management consulting, or go-to-market strategy within high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from initial strategy through execution.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical, operational, or regulatory topics clearly to executive and external audiences.
- Proven experience designing and scaling cross-functional operating models, PMO frameworks, and process improvements.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to identify root causes and build sustainable solutions.
- Experience collaborating with teams across product, engineering, legal, compliance, risk, or commercial functions.
- Experience using data, analytics, and reporting frameworks to support strategic decisions and measure program success.
- Experience in technology, financial services, fintech, or similarly fast-moving industries is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling and stakeholder influence capabilities.
