Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze and manage risk management data.
- Prepare reports to management and outside agencies as required.
- Participate in the review, investigation and evaluation of actual and potential claims.
- Serve as a resource to staff and management by participating in committee meetings and safety initiatives.
- Administer the risk management program on a daily basis.
- Conduct risk management education.
- Participate in formulating policy and/or organizational changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a hospital or other healthcare setting.
- Professional and general liability experience preferred.
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure if RN, current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License required.
