About the role
Join a small but expanding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function within a well-established insurance and financial solutions company. The role offers exposure across multiple areas of risk including third-party/vendor risk, fraud investigation coordination, enterprise risk reporting, and regulatory compliance support.
Responsibilities
- Support execution and continuous improvement of the third-party risk management (TPRM) program
- Conduct pre-contract due diligence and ongoing vendor risk assessments
- Facilitate annual vendor reviews and track remediation of identified issues
- Maintain vendor risk management systems and the vendor inventory database
- Prepare vendor risk dashboards and reporting
- Career development opportunities to grow alongside an expanding team over the next 1–2 years
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
- Experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, fraud/investigations, vendor management, or insurance operations — a mix of these areas is ideal; you don't need to have owned all of them
- Insurance industry background strongly preferred
- Familiarity with third-party risk management, vendor governance, or GRC systems a plus
- Exposure to insurance regulatory environments a plus
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills; experience with GRC platforms or data visualization tools (Power BI a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and build strong stakeholder relationships
- A proactive, go-getter mindset — someone who looks for answers and proposes solutions rather than waiting for direction
