Risk Finance Data Management Analyst II- Finance Regulatory Data

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all data changes impacting regulatory reports
• Ensuring controls are in place
• Validating reported numbers
• Supporting ongoing data quality and risk management processes
• Managing small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Leading small projects with significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives
• Explaining and interpreting complex, difficult, or sensitive information
• Providing direction and mentoring less experienced teammates

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.)
• Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines
• Experience managing small projects
• Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
• Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
• Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.)
• Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines
• Experience managing small projects
• Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
• Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
• Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL
• Prior experience as a business/data analyst in the Finance/Credit Risk domains and regulatory reporting
• Working knowledge of data reporting for Call/Y9C reports
