About the Opportunity

The Risk Data Analyst role supports the Risk Portfolio Management and Strategic Programs team, which bridges risk strategy and operational execution. This position is responsible for coordinating program and vendor management, building frameworks to automate risk management processes using AI tools, and managing project trackers to ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable outcomes. The role directly contributes to protecting the organization’s clients by enabling risk operations to function efficiently and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and execution of strategic portfolio plans using statistical and analytical methods.
• Develop and maintain frameworks that support risk initiatives, leveraging automation and AI tools to reduce manual work.
• Design advanced dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee third-party vendor relationships, including performance tracking, evaluations, ROI monitoring, and budget management.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment by maintaining project timelines, trackers, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with risk analysts and data scientists to develop control strategies based on data and research.
• Manage governance and audit documentation to ensure rigorous tracking and reporting within the Risk division.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in risk management, portfolio analytics, program management, or related fields in financial services, ecommerce, or fintech.
• Proven experience managing medium-scale, cross-functional programs with autonomy over deliverables and timelines.
• Hands-on experience managing third-party vendor relationships, including performance and ROI tracking.
• Strong knowledge of payment products and risk management principles across credit, fraud, or reputational risk domains.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights and risk analysis clearly to diverse audiences.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with AI and automation tools to optimize risk or operational functions.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data querying and analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields.
