Risk Analyst/Data Analyst

About the role

RWE Supply & Trading Americas, LLC is seeking a Risk Market Data Analyst to join their team as soon as possible. This position is full-time or part-time, permanent.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the daily market data process
• Cooking the trading end of day process
• Interacting with desk-facing risk teams and front office
• Sponsoring setup of new trading products
• Calculating historical volatilities and correlation updates
• Analyzing market data and creating regular market data reports
• Implementing process enhancement initiatives, projects, and new trading product setups

Job Requirements and Experience

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights
• Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Experience with a programming language – Python/SQL
• Interest in and willingness to further develop a broad range of technical skills—such as Python, AI, and database technologies—that are already applied within the team, including their use in data analysis, process automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Advantageous, but not essential: General knowledge of the risk process framework as well as market data quality assurance and management processes.

$85,000 - $100,000
