Risk, Controls and Compliance Manager
The Role
The Risk, Controls and Compliance Manager will lead the implementation, assessment, and ongoing effectiveness of Edrington’s global control framework across the Americas, including control sing, monitoring, remediation, and sign-off. This role will drive continuous improvement through control optimisation, automation, data analytics, KPI reporting, and senior-level advisory, while supporting Corporate Finance leadership on audit, regulatory, and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Localise and implement the Group risk management policy
- Ensure robust risk assessments and effective mitigation of key risks
- Embed the Group Controls Framework across the region
- Support Local Operating Companies to assess controls and remediate deficiencies
- Strengthen awareness, understanding, and application of Group policies across the Americas
- Own the development and embedding of the Americas compliance and risk management framework
- Maintain compliance effectiveness, identify and mitigate risk and compliance issues
- Drive awareness through training and communications
- Build a strong compliance culture
- Act as the regional point of contact for compliance and policy guidance
Requirements
- Relevant financial qualification or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in internal controls, risk management, and internal audit
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Expert knowledge of financial and non-financial controls, including policy development and best-practice design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with sound business judgement and a strategic, pragmatic approach to risk
- Proactive, high-energy self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a commitment to ethics and regulatory compliance
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clarity across complex or technical areas
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and outcome focus
Qualifications
- Senior controls and compliance leader with expertise in risk, control frameworks, and data access governance
- Strong knowledge of core business processes, IT general controls, and enterprise risk management
- Extensive delivery of global compliance programs, governance, third-party due diligence, and complex change initiatives
Skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clarity across complex or technical areas
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and outcome focus
Benefits
Salary: $119,000 - $150,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
Vacation Time: 25 days including Holiday Break from December 25th through 31st, Sick Leave Days, and Company Holidays

Pay
Salary: $119,000 - $150,000 per annum + Annual Bonus
Schedule
Hybrid working, 26 weeks’ paid maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, and up to five paid carers leave days a year
