Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
  • Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk.
  • Work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating the business internal control process, and assist clients and other Risk professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities particularly Work Management, Asset Management and/or Utility accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Valid passport required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
  • Experience implementing or using ERP tools like SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (PMP, Six Sigma, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT). Non-certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.

Pay and benefits

Base salary range for all US locations: $97,900 to $179,500. Base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento): $117,500 to $203,900. Individual salaries determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule and work model

Team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Expectation for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
