Accountabilities
- Leading client engagements focused on risk advisory, internal audit, governance, compliance, internal controls, SOX, and operational improvement.
- Serving as the primary relationship leader for insurance clients across Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and Reinsurance sectors.
- Managing engagement scope, budgets, staffing, timelines, quality standards, and final deliverables.
- Advising clients on emerging industry risks, regulatory developments, governance practices, and opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
- Leading cross-functional teams across multiple concurrent projects and ensuring successful delivery of client objectives.
- Reviewing assessments, findings, recommendations, and reports to provide clear and actionable insights.
- Building trusted relationships with executives, business leaders, and senior stakeholders.
- Identifying new business opportunities, contributing to proposals, and supporting practice growth initiatives.
- Coaching and mentoring team members while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CRMA, or another relevant credential.
- 7+ years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit, consulting, insurance, or related client-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of Life & Health, Property & Casualty, and/or Reinsurance operations, products, regulations, and industry-specific risks.
- Experience leading initiatives involving risk management, SOX, governance, compliance, internal controls, and operational improvements.
- Prominent ability to manage complex projects, competing priorities, budgets, teams, and client deliverables.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and insights to senior leadership, boards, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-based consulting environment.
