Your career. Your future. Your Towne. Join us at Towne Insurance as a Risk Advisor - Personal Lines. This is a sales-oriented position requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand the prospect’s needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop lead sources with our Towne Bank personnel in the various departments of the bank, mortgage, real estate, insurance, and other financial service departments.
  • Consistent updates and communication to your referral source on the status of the referral.
  • Promote the Towne Bank and Towne Insurance vision and guiding principles within the community.
  • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's individual needs.
  • Perform fact-finding to confirm, update, and define coverage needs.
  • Cook up with carrier(s) of choice to sell our personal lines products.
  • Capable of using various carrier rating systems and understanding underwriting guidelines.
  • Review all bound+ policies and documentation for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with our Townes Insurance Personal Lines support team in addition to working with and understanding key carrier service center offerings.
  • Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
  • Achie objectives established in annual producer sales plan.
  • Attend Towne Insurance training and meetings as required.
  • Promote the Towne Bank and Towne Insurance vision and guiding principles within the community.
  • Perform other specific job duties and projects as assigned.
  • Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Requirements

  • Current NC Property Casualty License or Carrier experience.
  • 2 years of experience in insurance sales or customer service.
  • Proficiency in using insurance agency management software and Microsoft Suite.
  • Customer focused mindset.
  • Adaptable to handle a variety of customer situations and industry changes.
  • Organized with an ability to multitask.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Proactive in problem solving.
  • Pride in getting work done accurately and timely.
  • Able to work in a team environment.

Skills
