SUMMARY OF POSITION
Supervises operation of RIP classrooms.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers.
- Creates and maintains children's puzzle task boxes.
- Provides training for parents/adults for classroom coverage.
- Provides classroom supervision.
- Organizes and participates in regular large group meetings for parents.
- Participates in program development and evaluation activities.
- Participates as an active member of the program staff team.
- Trains and supervises volunteers.
- Affords assistance in program tours.
- Participates in special RIP presentations as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduates of the RIP program preferred.
- Years Of Experience: Experience working with young children and their families is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Standing – 10%, Sitting – 90%, Squatting – Occasional, Kneeling – Occasional, Bending – Occasional, Driving – Occasional, Lifting – Occasional.
