RIP Classroom Coordinator

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Supervises operation of RIP classrooms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers.
• Creates and maintains children's puzzle task boxes.
• Provides training for parents/adults for classroom coverage.
• Provides classroom supervision.
• Organizes and participates in regular large group meetings for parents.
• Participates in program development and evaluation activities.
• Participates as an active member of the program staff team.
• Trains and supervises volunteers.
• Affords assistance in program tours.
• Participates in special RIP presentations as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Education Level: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Graduates of the RIP program preferred.
• Years Of Experience: Experience working with young children and their families is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Standing – 10%, Sitting – 90%, Squatting – Occasional, Kneeling – Occasional, Bending – Occasional, Driving – Occasional, Lifting – Occasional.
