Description

The Right of Way (ROW) Project Manager will oversee projects and their employees, communicating effectively with both internal and external parties.

Essential Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Aid in client contract negotiations and review contract/work order terms.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to develop project scope, budget, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring client needs are met.
  • Refine company SOPs in line with client specifics and keep updated, implementing project-specific SOPs.
  • Serve as the company's onsite representative for internal functions and attend client meetings.
  • Manage onsite audits and ensure accuracy of client reports and GIS tools.
  • Attend project kick-offs and conference calls, communicate potential cost overruns and scope changes, and verify client invoices.
  • Approve project expenses and manage direct reports and field personnel.
  • Organize regular management meetings for communication and training, aligning delivery and services with shared services.
  • Generate and submit change orders for scope changes, monitor staffing levels, and provide project reporting.
  • Assist sales and marketing with project cost estimates, communicate leads through CRM, and prepare RFPs and formal estimates.
  • Participate in local associations and attend industry events.
  • Complete skill matrices for direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
  • Train direct reports and other key field personnel on new company processes.
  • Communicate with supervisors and assist in developing employee engagement plans.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Effective communication and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
  • Two to four years of supervisory experience.
  • At least six years of relevant industry experience.
  • Understanding of legal aspects, property values, environmental issues, and permitting requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Close attention to details, good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Team player and ability to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Regular attendance and willingness to work overtime.
  • Compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Spend up to 50% of time in the project area.
  • Regularly sit, use hands, and perform tasks requiring hand-finger, hand-feel, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and adjusting focus.
