Essential Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s operations for the projects in the Region.
  • Work with the GM, RD and RMs to know the customers and their needs to ensure that they are met; work diligently to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for adhering to written safety and operational procedures.
  • Aid in the review and understanding of contract/work order terms for projects within the region.
  • Develop Project Scope, Budget, Deliverables and reports in collaboration with RD and RMs.
  • Remain current on Company SOP updates and implement ProjectServe as the Company’s onsite representative for internal communications.
  • Prepare and issue project status reports for the Client and other departments including GIS, Acquisition, etc.
  • Communicate potential cost overruns, scope changes, and the risk with the Project Managers in a timely manner.
  • Review invoices and communicate concerns with PMs and Managing Directors.
  • Prepare and issue overall project reporting to Managers in accordance with the Client deliverables and performance goals.
  • Work proactively with other departments to facilitate project accounting support.
  • Support RM to track project budget actual costs.
  • Aid in approving time and expenses for field employees.
  • Verify with client’s rep that invoices are accurate and coordinate with Client Coordinators in verifying Client invoices.
  • Assist in the scheduling of client meetings, lunches, dinners.
  • Aid in the preparation of RFP and Formal Estimates.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required plus 1 year of experience in the right of way industry.
  • Strong knowledge of technology processes including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team.
  • Pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willing to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Spend 100% of the time in an office environment.
  • Sit, use hands to finger handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • This job requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
