Essential Tasks And Responsibilities
- Aid management with client contract negotiations.
- Review and comprehend contract/work order and terms for both client and agents.
- Collaborate with supervisor in creating project scope, budget, deliverables, and milestones and fulfill client needs.
- Refine company standard operating procedures (SOP) in accordance with client specifics and stay updated on company SOPs, implementing project-specific SOPs.
- Represent the company on-site for internal functions and attend client meetings, functions, etc.
- Assist in scheduling and completing onsite audits.
- Ensure accuracy of client reports and GIS reporting tools.
- Attend initial project kick-off meetings and subsequent project conference calls.
- Communicate potential cost overruns and scope changes with the client in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with accounting to verify client invoices and follow up with clients.
- Approve project-related expenses.
- Manage direct reports and field personnel, handle office-related issues, etc.
- Hold regular management meetings for improved communication and training.
- Communicate client scope changes with direct reports.
- Provide alignment between delivery and services with shared services.
- Generate and submit change order documentation to support scope changes when necessary.
- Maintain staffing levels with the client.
- Provide project reporting to the client according to the client's schedule or as directed by the supervisor.
- Assist the supervisor by providing guidance on staffing.
- Aid in disciplinary actions in compliance with company policy and notify HR prior to any disciplinary action.
- Provide coaching and training to assist direct reports in improving their performance.
- Aid in developing plans and ideas for employee engagement.
- Conduct performance reviews of direct reports and communicate with the supervisor.
- Train direct reports and other key field personnel on new company processes.
- Complete skillset matrices for direct reports and communicate with the supervisor.
- Aid sales and marketing in project cost estimates.
- Communicate potential leads through the company-approved CRM.
- Coordinate with marketing in identifying potential events and organizations for support.
- Aid in preparing Requests for Proposal (RFP) and formal estimates.
- Attend and volunteer at local association events.
- Attend other industry-related seminars or events deemed necessary by the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Possesses a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate Microsoft Office software and email.
- Two to four years of supervisory experience.
- At least six years of relevant industry experience.
- Good understanding of legal aspects of project documents, area property values, general environmental issues, and permitting requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Close attention to details, good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willing to take on additional or new responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on the project assigned and overtime if needed).
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Spend up to 50% of time in the project area.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
