Right-of-Way Agent/Appraiser

Responsibilities

Aid in negotiations with landowners.

Interpret property appraisals, title reports, plans, and legal descriptions.

Evaluate relocation benefit payment eligibilities.

Manage property tasks and assist clients with ROW issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (college education preferred).
• Residential Appraisal License preferred.
• Knowledge of real estate practices and principles.
• Computer literacy with MS Office proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possession of current notary seal or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with ROW services in Maryland (preferred).
• Civil engineering education and/or experience (preferred).

Requirements

Must be able to pass employment reference checks, verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials, a motor vehicle report (MVR), and a comprehensive background check.
