Right-of-Way Agent/Appraiser

Responsibilities

• Aid in negotiations with landowners.
• Interpret property appraisals, title reports, plans, and legal descriptions.
• Evaluate relocation benefit payment eligibilities.
• Support property management tasks and assist clients with ROW issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (college education preferred).
• Residential Appraisal License preferred.
• Working knowledge of real estate practices and principles.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possession of current notary seal or ability to obtain one.
• Experience providing ROW services in Maryland (preferred).
• Civil engineering education and/or experience preferred.
