Rig Surveyors – Mechanical (Contract)

Due to continued growth and contract awards we are looking for Rig Surveyors – Mechanical on a contract basis.

Track Record & Criteria

• Personnel having attained status of Chief Engineer and/or member of a Professional Body.
• Track record in a senior role with a drilling contractor as part of the maintenance crew covering drilling equipment, marine systems, hydraulic systems, main machinery, hoisting / lifting, mud processing systems, surface well control and other rig floor equipment.
• Conversant with maintenance management systems, including condition-based monitoring.
• Track record of different drilling rig types, including design, generation, manufacturer.
• Up-to-date with industry codes and standards.
• Track record of management / maintenance role with a drilling contractor, including Technical Superintendent, Technical Section Leader, Maintenance Superintendent or similar.
• Have cross-discipline experience including:
  • Hydraulics systems
  • Marine & barge equipment.
  • Surface well control equipment.
• Track record working with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
• All candidates applying must have the right to work in the USA or hold a valid B1 OCS visa.
• All candidates must have all valid offshore training, OGUK Medical and BOSIET/ FOET.
