Responsibilities

• Safely operate an authentic propane‑fueled steam locomotive
• Monitor and interpret gauges, valves, and controls
• Maintain awareness of surroundings with moving and heated mechanical parts
• Observe the train while in motion to ensure guest safety
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members
• Maintain cleanliness of the locomotive engine and tender
• Follow Enchanted Parks' Guest‑First service standards
• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
• Assist with additional ride‑related duties as assigned by the Ride Lead

Requirements

• Minimum age: 18
• Interest in mechanical systems and ride operations
• Ability to work outdoors and in warm or heat‑intensive environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Professional, self‑motivated attitude
• Ability to multitask while maintaining safety focus
• Reliable attendance and willingness to follow procedures
• Prior Enchanted Parks ride experience preferred, but not required
