Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on rides and attractions to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Execute preventive maintenance programs in partnership with the Technical Manager or General Manager
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement timely solutions
- Ensure all rides meet safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and compliance documentation
- Assist with ride testing, startup, and shutdown procedures
- Communicate operational issues, safety concerns, and repair needs promptly to leadership
- Support ride installations, refurbishments, and upgrades as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride areas, mechanical rooms, and workspaces
- Assist guests with ride-related concerns in a professional and guest-focused manner
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to protect guests, team members, and company assets
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- 1+ year of experience in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance-related roles (amusement or ride experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and safety guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and compliance
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
