Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair all park rides, including watercraft, slides, nets, and moving walks
- Hold all department safety standards, including test riding and inspections
- Complete all required documentation
- Communicate any ride-related questions/concerns to leadership
- Maintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals for each ride
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance duties, including care of tools
- Provide exceptional service to guests and team members
Requirements
- A high school diploma, trade school, or equivalent required
- A minimum of three years verifiable industrial maintenance experience, automotive, or military
- Advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and conveyor systems
- A valid driver’s license and adherence to company driving guidelines
- Good written communication skills to complete maintenance documentation
- The ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers
- Possession of a proven team player
- The ability to possess a professional quality tool set
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
- Work on high steel or wood structures
- Wear a full body harness
- Be respirator trained
- Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to a variety of weather conditions
- Engage in extensive walking and standing throughout the work shift
- Perform the following physical activities on a frequent basis: stand, walk, climb, bend, floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead and reach overhead, simple grasp, and fine manipulation tasks
- Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
- Promote and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and fellow ambassadors
- Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business needs, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
