Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead projects under principals and senior project managers for large and complex luxury residences in the U.S. and overseas.
  • Lead the drafting, development, coordination, and organization of project drawing sets and construction documents.
  • Demonstrate strong administrative capabilities.
  • Delegate effectively and supervise with confidence.
  • Research building codes.
  • Produce CAD drawings and 3D renderings.
  • Interpret design intent into working drawings for contract documents.
  • Type and assemble project specification documents.
  • Generate reports, memos, letters, meeting minutes, and various other documents.
  • Manage files through both hard copy and electronic filing systems, including creating new files, filing, and archiving.
  • Review shop drawings and coordinate fieldwork and consultants.
  • Support construction administration.
  • Travel for projects as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on project needs.

Requirements

  • Architectural education or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of management experience and a minimum of 6 years of architectural work experience overall is required.
  • High-end residential work experience preferred; commercial work experience also considered.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and master new systems and applications.
  • Flexible and able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Proven ability to independently solve problems.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Highly organized and meticulously detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
