About the role
The Rhinology, Anterior Skull Base Physician at Creighton University School of Medicine will join the growing Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in Omaha, NE. This role involves comprehensive rhinology with diverse practice including endoscopic sinus surgery, revision procedures, allergy/rhinology, and multidisciplinary endoscopic skull base surgery. The candidate will also work closely with a neurosurgical team for skull base cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage a comprehensive rhinology practice with a focus on inflammatory disease and skull base surgeries
- Collaborate with Creighton University School of Medicine to establish a residency program
- Work in an academic tertiary care setting with 1:6 call responsibilities and weekday APP support
- Participate in research activities and mentorship programs
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
- Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
- Strong clinical skills with experience in programmatic development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
