Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases such as arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct clinical research to advance knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families about managing their conditions.
• Participate in medical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current New York State Medical License.
• Completion of an accredited Rheumatology residency program.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Rheumatology.
• Strong interest in academic medicine or research.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
