Joining our esteemed team at NYP/Queens, you will be part of a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Rheumatology provider, your expertise will be crucial in managing and treating conditions affecting the joints, connective tissues, and muscles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat rheumatic diseases such as arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct clinical research to advance knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide education to patients and their families about managing their conditions.
- Participate in medical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases.
Requirements
- A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- A current New York State Medical License.
- Completion of an accredited Rheumatology residency program.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Rheumatology.
- Strong interest in academic medicine or research.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
