About the role

Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a Rheumatologist to join its Department of Rheumatology. In addition to clinical duties, the position offers opportunities to engage in education, research, and administrative activities, based on interest and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and contribute to the department's mission of improving patient outcomes through clinical care, education, and research.
• Engage in clinical practice, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of rheumatic diseases.
• Participate in education activities, such as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to research initiatives, potentially focusing on inflammatory arthritis, autoimmune connective tissue diseases, and general Rheumatology.
• Perform ultrasound-assisted procedures independently, as relevant to the candidate's expertise.
• Collaborate with a team of three Rheumatologists and two Advanced Practice Providers based in La Crosse.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Rheumatology
• Eligible for Medical Licensure in Wisconsin
