About the role
The Department of Rheumatic and Immunologic Diseases at Cleveland Clinic is seeking qualified full-time and part-time rheumatologists. The department comprises 56 staff rheumatologists and 14 APPs, practicing at 12 sites.
Responsibilities
Physicians will provide both inpatient consultation and comprehensive outpatient care. They will collaborate with clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, and research support personnel. Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive outpatient care
- Participating in clinical research
- Teaching medical students and residents
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
Applicants must be BC/BE and committed to excellence in patient care. They should have strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have completed residency training in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and be board certified in Rheumatology. Experience in academic medicine is preferred.
Skills
Strong clinical skills, teaching abilities, and research potential are essential. Proficiency in English is required.

Pay
The salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions is $243,500 to $335,000, with fair market value determining actual compensation.
