CodeGreen is a national building solutions firm that partners with clients to make buildings safe, healthy, resilient, and sustainable. Our multidisciplinary team brings extensive expertise in sustainability, decarbonization, building code, fire safety, resiliency, indoor environmental quality, and inspections. We support building owners, investors, and tenants through every phase of a building’s lifecycle—from construction and acquisition through upgrades and renovation to disposition.
As an RFP Specialist, you will work alongside our sales and technical teams to bring client-focused proposals to life, translating complex compliance, environmental, and engineering services into clear, compelling content. You’ll support strategic sales opportunities and play a hands-on role in CodeGreen’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Draft and assemble client-specific sales proposals, scopes of work, and capability statements based on direction from sales and account management teams
- Collaborate with environmental, compliance, and engineering subject matter experts to translate technical input into persuasive, client-ready content
- Customize proposal messaging to reflect client needs, business challenges, and the specific services being offered
- Edit and format proposals for clarity, consistency, and professionalism across all deliverables
- Support proposal timelines and internal review processes, incorporating feedback from sales leaders, senior staff, and technical reviewers
- Maintain and update a library of proposal templates, service descriptions, staff resumes, project summaries, and boilerplate content for reuse
- Lead and coordinate responses to client RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, including compliance reviews, content development, SME coordination, and final submission preparation
- Help document differentiators, case studies, and capabilities to strengthen future proposals
- Build working knowledge of CodeGreen's service lines, target industries, and relevant regulatory and technical terminology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience developing and coordinating responses to formal RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs within a consulting, engineering, environmental, AEC, or professional services organization
- Experience responding to formal RFP, RFQ, and RFIs
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and managing evolving requirements
- Must be local to NYC and able to work on-site in our Midtown Manhattan office
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interest in professional services, consulting, or technical/regulatory environments strongly preferred
- Strong preference for experience with Deltek Vantagepoint and InDesign
Pay
Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000
