RFC Senior Operations Manager- DC

Responsibilities

• Directs daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Maintains real-time operational performance and adjusts staffing and workflows to meet volume fluctuations.
• Ensures on-time fulfillment of retail store replenishment orders and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Collaborates with transportation teams to optimize loading schedules and carrier utilization.
• Leads, coaches, and develops Operations Supervisors responsible for departmental performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) achievement.
• Promotes a safety-first culture and ensures compliance with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and company safety policies.
• Conducts performance evaluations, holds team accountable to standards, and identifies high-potential talent for succession planning.
• Conducts incident investigations and implements corrective actions to prevent safety incidents.
• Drives achievement of KPIs including units per hour, order accuracy, on-time shipment, and labor productivity.
• Leads Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency.
• Manages departmental operating budget and controls labor, equipment, and supply costs.
• Oversees warehouse fleet operations and manages relationships with delivery contractors and third-party logistics providers (3PL).

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in distribution, managing a fleet, delivery contractors, 3PL experience, and background in logistics.
• Required: Company-issued industrial vehicle license, or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen Process Improvement methodology.
• Action-oriented - dedicated to making and meeting deadlines.

Salary

$80,000-$85,000

Work Environment

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety-sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
