RF Test Technician
About the role
We seek an RF Test Technician IV to lead our testing department and troubleshoot electronic RF devices for the Department of War. These devices are crucial for saving lives and maintaining a technological edge.
Responsibilities
Launch and test circuits in fixtures to specifications
Biasing FETs (Field Effect Transistors) and/or transistors
Test and tune standard catalog amplifiers from 10MHz to 18GHz
Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities
Maintain productive working relationships with all team members
Apply RF fundamentals including gain, gain flatness, gain matching, return loss, P1 dB compression, phase/phase tracking
Calibrate test equipment
Tune and troubleshoot
Operate test equipment like DC power supplies, RF signal generators, scalar and network analyzers
Understand DC theory (Ohm's Law)
Follow ESD procedures
Requirements
High School Diploma
5-7+ years relevant experience
Familiar with computers (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability to clearly communicate in written and spoken English
Qualifications
Leadership and mentoring experience
Ability to obtain US DoW Secret Clearance
AS degree in EE, EET, or similar
Preferred experience in tuning RF thin film circuits

$50,600.00 - $101,200.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
