RF Field Technician (Secret Clearance) (50% travel)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site technical support for podded communication systems
  • Serve as a technical liaison to supported military units and elements
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and procedures
  • Configure systems to support testing and prototype development
  • Develop troubleshooting guidelines and workaround documentation
  • Perform system and subsystem testing
  • Review system specifications and provide feedback on development, testing, and network documentation
  • Install and configure Windows and Linux servers and capture, deploy, and manage system images
  • Manage and maintain DNS, Exchange, and Active Directory services
  • Administer virtual environments
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure—such as switches, servers, and firewalls—and resolve network issues

Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance (highly preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant network communications, test, and integration experience
  • Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Tactical Data Link familiarity (e.g. CDL, TTNT, L-16, SADL, etc.) required.
  • Live field testing, experience with military communication systems required.
  • Working knowledge on network security devices (e.g. firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS)
  • Working knowledge on event management systems.

Compensation

Total compensation based on experience level - $105,000-$140,000+
