Responsibilities
- Lead RF front-end design and development projects.
- Conduct detailed radio propagation modeling and prediction.
- Perform complex microwave path and interference analysis.
- Develop and implement RF frequency plans.
- Design, test, and validate RF circuits and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Document technical designs, test plans, and results.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in RF engineering or a related role.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Proficiency in RF design and testing techniques.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices, including various RF modeling, analysis techniques, and tools.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams.
- We Prefer:
- Experience with advanced RF simulation tools.
- Understanding of aerospace and defense industry standards.
- Knowledge of industry standard RF principles as they apply to design, analysis, and test.
- Experience with analysis software applications such as ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS EMIT, ANSYS SAVANT/SBR+, Keysight GENESIS, Sonnet Professional, AWR Microwave Office, AWR Visual Systems Simulator (VSS), and MATLAB.
- Experience with Schematic capture and PCB layout & viewer tools such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition, PADS Power Logic and Layout, Gerbtool, etc.
- Experience with RF test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators.
- Knowledgeable of industry standard RF assemblies and component selection and developing technical specifications.
Essential Functions
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Analyze failure data, reports, and root cause analysis to identify and document issues accurately.
- Evaluate different approaches to failure analysis and selecting the most appropriate methods for effective resolution.
- Make informed decisions based on data and analysis to recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Able to handle small components, tools, and equipment with precision.
- Able to read and interpret technical documents, failure analysis reports, and computer screens accurately.

- $94,345.12 - $129,724.54
