Job Summary / Objectives The Electrical Engineer drives the design of custom RF microwave components and subsystems by advancing departmental knowledge of and use of global best practice design guidelines by working individually and with the other members of the Engineering Design team that deliver the technical specifications required by our customers. You Will: What Your Weeks Will Look Like: Design and update the electro-mechanical packages for new and existing products.Generate sketches for mechanical concepts/ layouts. Performing microwave/ RF testing and analysis for the designs.Generate in-house and customer/ vendor use tooling and fixtures. Investigate problems with electrical attributes of designs to meet specifications and suggest and implement solutions. Experience with passive Microwave device packaging and electrical concepts. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Participate in high priority engineering recovery efforts during production. Other Aspects Of The Position: Able to work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for legacy drawings, as needed Participate in the weekly Design Engineering project status meetings to help the team achieve the best design solutions for customer requirements Requirements Other Aspects of the Position: Able to work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks for legacy drawings, as needed Participate in the weekly Design Engineering project status meetings to help the team achieve the best design solutions for customer requirements Requirements The Skills You Need to be Successful: Ability to organize workload and priorities to meet deadlines. Proven ability to work both as a team member and as an individual. High energy with can do attitude Analytical skills Analyze & interpret engineering data Computer Aided Design Tools, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD Strong team contributor in a dynamic workflow environment with good time management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter – looks for areas of improvement and tackles them. Education And Work Experience Requirements: US Persons BSEE or equivalent experience Familiarity with Passive Microwave hardware function and packaging techniques 2-5 years post graduate working experience in an engineering group. Strong Impedance Matching skills, modeling and analysis.
