About the role
Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of wireless designs in hearing aids and hearing aid accessories.
Responsibilities
- Design wireless hardware for products through the product development process
- Testing and troubleshooting of product to characterize the unit and system level RF performance
- Continuous improvement in product and process
- Support transfer of products and product knowledge into manufacturing
- Provide work direction to technicians
Qualifications
Requires Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 2 years' experience with RF or Optics Design, or, Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field plus 5 years' experience with RF or Optics Design.
Required skills
- RF hardware design concepts, practices, and procedures
- Antenna design and testing
- Design and test methods for body-loaded consumer electronics
- Electromagnetic theory
- Oscilloscope, signal generator, network analyzer, and spectrum analyzer
- Antenna and circuit simulation tools
- MATLAB
Pay
$130,291/year.
