Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and/or project/process management of new and current projects, products, programs, components, tools, and acceptance equipment under technical guidance of higher-level technical experts.
- Create product or project definitions, manufacturing drawings and specifications, operating procedures, and test equipment designs.
- Design product and acceptance equipment; develop measurement methods, acquire, and designate tooling, cables, laboratory and other equipment to support product acceptance.
- Develop test procedures and perform routine to moderately complex engineering evaluation tests, product and process capability studies, quality audits, product or project data reviews, and other engineering evaluation work to ensure product manufacturability.
- Conduct audits, analyze processes, products, and inspection records to anticipate, identify, and correct problems and establish quality levels and trends.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assist in resolving moderately complex, development, production, and acceptance issues.
- Prepare evaluation reports, analyze discrepancies, make recommendations for, and initiate improvements for product.
You Must Have
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited university in Engineering or Physics.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities.
- Ability to work remotely, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and determined by the needs of the business.
- United States Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefers some RF Experience.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, mathematical computations, computer software applications, and written documentation.
- Demonstrated established technical methodologies to routine engineering projects.
- Established ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications to develop effective acceptance processes and improve existing processes.
- Familiarization with GD&T Concepts.
Qualifications
