Rework Technician

Management retains the discretion of adding or changing the duties of the position at any time. SUMMARY ESS Rework Technician do commission work on the ESS according to the processes. Technicians are assigned to a location within the field that modifies and repairs mechanical and electrical processes of the ESS, do the commission work and follows documentation pertaining to their assigned station in their department. JOB DESCRIPTION Receive batteries, cube unload, and document them by serial numbersTest cubes, batteries, and components using BYD software and hardwareDisassemble cubes, make repairs and modifications based on engineering or manager's directionDocument all issues and repairs as well as changes madeClean and organize inside and outside work areas that include warehouseWork with team members to create a safe, efficient work environment while maintaining high quality work product and repairsHelp document and repair cubes at port siteSupporting warehouse by assisting with organizing and inventoryDemonstrates attention to detailDemonstrates required skillsGathers and analyzes information skillfullyCommunicates changes and progressBalances team and individual responsibilitiesAdapts to changes in the work environmentFollows instruction, responds to management directionDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughnessUpholds organizational valuesProper use of PPE and observes safety and security procedures of BYD and adhere to customer safety and proceduresOther duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
