Rework Technician

Summary

Ess Rework Technician duties include commissioning work on the ESS according to processes. Responsibilities involve modifying and repairing mechanical and electrical processes, testing cubes, batteries, and components, documenting repairs, and creating a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive batteries, cube unload, and document them by serial numbers
• Test cubes, batteries, and components using BYD software and hardware
• Disassemble cubes, make repairs and modifications based on engineering or manager's direction
• Document all issues and repairs as well as changes made
• Clean and organize inside and outside work areas that include warehouse
• Work with team members to create a safe, efficient work environment while maintaining high quality work product and repairs
• Supporting warehouse by assisting with organizing and inventory
