Nycom, one of the largest names in Laboratory Construction with offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US, specializes in interior construction, including laboratory furniture, equipment, and custom woodwork for clients in the Educational, Industrial, Research, and Healthcare markets. Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes.
• Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to company standards.
• Manage project information, maintain notes and documentation, and ensure questions are answered when needed using proprietary software.
• Work competently in a deadline-driven remote environment that requires independent time management.
• Independently solve problems in close coordination with members of the project team.
• Drafting scope primarily includes Division 12 casework and tops, with possible scope in Divisions 09, 10, 11, 22, and related areas.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Revit as a modeling and data management tool.
• 3-4 years of experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, construction management, and/or 3+ years of drafting experience preferred.

Pay

$55,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience.
