Reverse Mortgage Inside Sales Loan Officer

The Role

Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage is seeking Loan Officers who can help address and solve one of the most significant challenges facing the Baby Boomer Generation today - Financial Preparedness for their retirement years. We are committed to educating Retirees and their families on the value of a product that was created by the U.S. government during President Reagan’s term in Office.

Responsibilities

• Train to listen and build rapport with potential clients
• Understand and analyze the full financial situations of our customers
• Provide the most appropriate financial solutions to meet each client's specific needs
• Close deals and negotiate effectively
• Identify and understand customer's goals and objectives
• Handle high volume of phone calls
• Multi-task and manage a flexible schedule
• Work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Energetic and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability and passion for closing deals and negotiating
• Valid SAFE and State license or certification (strongly preferred)
• Sales experience (preferred)
• College degree (not mandatory)

Qualifications

• Quickly connects with consumers and builds rapport with potential clients
• Strong sense of urgency and initiative to get things done
• Basic computer and data entry skills
