Reverse Mortgage Inside Sales Loan Officer

The Role

Mutual of Omaha Reverse Mortgage is seeking Loan Officers who can help educate and assist the Baby Boomer Generation in managing their retirement finances through the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) program.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build rapport with potential clients
• Understand and analyze the full financial situations of customers
• Provide the most appropriate financial solutions to meet each client's specific needs
• Closely connect with consumers and build trust
• Identify customer's goals and objectives quickly
• Handle high volume of phone calls and multi-task effectively
• Close deals and negotiate with confidence
• Work within a fast-paced environment and learn new methods quickly
• Handle urgent matters with a strong sense of urgency
• Have basic computer and data entry skills

Requirements

• Energetic and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability and passion for closing deals and negotiating
• Valid SAFE and State license or certification (strongly preferred)
• Sales experience preferred
• College degree preferred, but not mandatory
