Description
Amazon is seeking a Reverse Logistics Coordinator to support the non-inventory movement of new/used technology returns to Global RAD Operation sites (GRO) worldwide. This role aims to reduce global technology spend by providing timely resolution to issues through research and decision-making, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (FBA, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers, IT Field Team).
- Create narratives outlining findings on tickets/requests on shipment inquiries and update correspondence to keep customers informed.
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, measure and identify activities performed.
- Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects to drive efficiency in Amazon's transportation operations.
- Systmatically escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
- Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
- Develop performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
- Scope out business and functional requirements for the Amazon tech teams who create and enhance the software systems and tools we use.
- Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly metrics and performance dashboards as requested.
- Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make decisions based on available data.

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) experience
- High school or equivalent
- Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of transportation and supply chain experience
