Major Functional Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop Revenue Recovery Coordinators and Auditor(s); provide oversight, prioritization, and performance management.
- Oversee monthly generation, validation, and distribution of vendor recovery reports (by vendor, customer, item, and program).
- Ensure accurate calculation and reconciliation of vendor-funded rebates, trade allowances, and accruals.
- Manage vendor recovery processes, including automated deductions and formal claim submissions.
- Oversee dispute resolution process, including research, documentation review, and collaboration with cross functional partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Purchasing, Contracts, Logistics, and Accounts Payable to investigate pricing, freight, cost, or purchasing history discrepancies.
- Review and approve credit adjustments, corrections, and final reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor aging recovery balances and drive timely resolution of outstanding vendor receivables.
- Establish and improve internal controls, documentation standards, and recovery processes to minimize risk and leakage.
- Identify trends, recurring discrepancies, and systemic issues; recommend process improvements.
- Support month-end close by ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation of vendor recovery balances.
- Provide reporting and analysis to Finance leadership on recovery performance, dispute trends, and outstanding balances.
Required Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Required Work Experience: 3 - 5 Years - Experience in revenue recovery, trade funding, deductions management, financial reconciliation, or related finance operations.
- Required Qualifications: Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, and vendors.
- Advanced Excel and ERP/reporting system proficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in dispute resolution environments.
