The Revenue Excellence Trainer plays a critical role in advancing the operational excellence of the Revenue Cycle team by designing, delivering, and continuously improving training programs that enhance staff knowledge, performance, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain onboarding programs and ongoing training curriculum for all Revenue Cycle teams and Internal Business Partners
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions across functional areas, including patient access, coding, billing, payer policies, and system workflows
- Develop role specific learning paths and certification programs to support career progression and operational experience
- Identify skill gaps and training opportunities leveraging performance data, stakeholder feedback, and workflow analysis
- Collaborate with leaders to facilitate workforce retraining needs to ensure the team remains current with evolving regulations, payer requirements, and internal standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field
- A minimum of four (4) years Epic Revenue Cycle experience (Health System preferred)
- Epic Credentialed Trainer distinction and certification in Revenue Cycle applications must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire
- Three to five (3-5) years of Revenue Cycle operations experience
- Epic Revenue Cycle application experience
