Revenue, Demand & Supply Planning Professional

Overview

Handshake is seeking professionals with experience in Revenue, Demand & Supply Planning to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You’ll draw on your expertise across pricing, demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain operations to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand end-to-end retail planning workflows and decision-making. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Revenue, Demand & Supply Planning within retail or consumer-facing industries, in roles such as: Demand Planner, Supply Chain Manager, Pricing Analyst, or similar planning/analytics roles
• Or equivalent experience supporting end-to-end planning across demand, inventory, and pricing
• Hands-on Experience With Core Planning Workflows, Including Demand forecasting and in-season reforecasting
• Inventory and supply planning processes
• Pricing, promotions, or margin optimization (preferred)
• Freight, logistics, or cost management (e.g., invoice auditing)
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
