About the role
This position involves providing innovative business solutions and leading project implementation to improve company processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Stabilize production demands for up to 2 years, coordinating with VRM, CDP Planners, Sales, and Customer Service Coordinators.
- Plan for New Product Launches, Model Rolls, Product End of Life stages, and similar initiatives.
- Ensure inventory accuracy in SAP, manage COGI processes, and resolve blocked stock and inventory loss issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Provide backup and support for colleagues, including handling prototypes and sample orders.
- Collaborate with Production, Material Planning, and Customer Service teams.
- Maintain SAP Materials Masters and support BOM impact assessment for new productions.
- Optimize production planning to meet customer requirements using tools like SAP, CAM, and MES while maximizing plant and material resources.
- Manage supply shortages across all internal areas, providing data to support strategic decision-making regarding customer and plant costs.
- Monitor raw material levels to identify and contribute to cost-related decisions.
- Analyze supply situations for each product line and product, including globally allocated materials.
- Track and improve production performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience with SAP (e.g., planning, inventory controls).
- Experience in Supply Chain Management (modules SD, PP, MM, WM).
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- 2+ years of professional experience in relevant fields.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability after business hours and on weekends.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
