Located in West Plains, MO More Information About This Job: Revenue Cycle Medical Billing Payor Verification Government Payors Work Location: Remote or On-Site, United States Hourly Compensation: $16 This position is bonus eligible Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (CST) JOB SUMMARY The Revenue Cycle Medical - Payor Verification Government Payors representative works with payor portals and payors via telephone to verify benefits, deductibles, and out-of-pocket amounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Solve problems, research, and coordinate benefit issues.Work as team member to meet team and departmental goals and deadlines.Utilize payor portals and telephone for benefit verification.Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Analyze work processes to maximize efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of medical billing experience including payor verification and/or communicating with payors directlyExperience of computers and related technology, at an intermediate levelProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Excel and WordStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to make timely decisionsAbility to work independently with little or no direction and as an active member of the Preferred Experience: Minimum of one (1) year working in a call center environmentMinimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position.Above average knowledge of government insurance billing guidelines and policiesExperience with payer portals and online eligibility inquiries Preferred Education: High school diplomaGEDOr significant, relevant work experience Why Choose Air Evac Lifeteam?
